Dawn Chisholm, Editor: The plane arrived a little late in Wanganui.....An added pleasure for me was being driven by my hostess, Eleanor Burgess, in her grand old 1961 Rover....One rose 'Harry Campbell' interested me very much, as I could recall it winning the Silver Star of the city of Palmerston North for the best New Zealand amateur raised rose in the 1983-85 Trial Ground Awards. It was born in Eleanor's garden as a sport of 'Eutin' and there it was, looking strong and healthy. Eleanor said that it was rarely without some flowers.
