Re parentage of Fairy Moss: New Penny × 12-59-10 (moss hybrid, Moore)

The Australian Rose Annual 1971, page 25 quotes

Charles Marden Fitch in 'The Complete Book of Miniature Roses', page 50 confirms
.....finally resulting in a cross of a floribunda moss rose [Pinocchio x William Lobb] crossed with pollen from miniature 'New Penny'......

Patricia,

12-59-10 is a "breeder" rose that Mr. Moore never released to the public, but used for breeding purposes only. If you click on the blue pollen parent, it will take you to the rose page for that rose and you will see that the parentage IS 'Pinocchio' x 'William Lobb'. Since this was truly a "break-through" rose, we have reported the parentage as Mr. Moore prefers to see it listed.

Lyn
