Armenie (Hybrid Tea)... Garnet red bud, always opening well. A large, double flower with blood red velvet-like petals, which are shaded with rich crimson. Very vigorous and free-flowering bush. Highly perfumed. Introduced 1937.

New Roses 1938. Armenie (HT.  E. Buatois 1936)  A vigorous and free flowering variety with garnet-purple bud, opening to large, double, sweetly scented flower with blood red velvet-like petals which are shaded with rich crimson. 4/- each.
Open blooms too flat with small centre petals. Mediocre.
