According to the 1950 ARS mag, in "New Roses of the World":

BETTY MORSE. HT. (Wilhelm Kordes; int. Henry Morse & sons, '50.) Parentage not given. Long pointed bud. Four-inch bloom borne singly and several together. Average 25 petals. Red. Slight fragrance. Excellent, olive-green foilage. Vigorous growth. Profuse bloomer.
