Discovered by Russell Grimwade (Australia, before 1938).
Introduced in Australia by T. G. Stewart in 1941 as 'Baxter Beauty'.

Hybrid Gigantea, Shrub, Tea.  

Light yellow to sulphur, overlaid on the outside of petals with splashes of light salmon pink..  Semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Bushy, upright.  

Height: 6'7" (200cm).  

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  

'Baxter Beauty' may have been introduced by Rosalton Nursery in Victoria. Refer 1941 reference.

It is not clear from the references whether 'Baxter Beauty' 1938 was a sport of 'Lorraine Lee' 1924 or 'Lorraine Lee Climbing' 1932. The height seems to vary from reference to reference as well.
