I suspect the code TAN05191 shown in this file, must belong to another rose.

The issue is that Tantau has repeatedly use the brand name 'Cosima'. The 'Cosima' with Breeder Code Tan01441 is a Florists Rose from 2001. The trademark was registered in Germany as No. 1 010 716 and in Italy as No. 457 248. The 'Arielle' Trademark was registered later as No. 2 005 876 in Germany and No. 579 255 in Italy. The Breeder code Tan05191 from 2005 would be appropriate for 'Arielle'. Unfortunately, I did not note the source of this Information back in 2011. Now is 'Cosima' a synonym of 'Arielle'? The breeder code Tanelleira would indicate this: Ariel spelled backwards is ...leira.

What a can of worms. But we have many members in Germany who may be able to contribute and help us get the correct information on these roses. I wonder if Christian Evers may be able to help? I’d send him a Private Message if I could. (What has happened to our Private Messages?)
