I have had a new Private Message (oh hooray) from a member in France seeking a plant of ‘Madge Elliott’. Does anybody grow this rose?

In looking at the ‘Madge Elliott’ file, I see some controversy in the references: 1972 “a technicality”; and 1966 registration “cancelled”. HelpMeFind has the parentage as (Queen Elizabeth x unnamed seedling). It is my guess that ‘Madge Elliott’ was in fact a sport, and not a seedling, of ‘Queen Elizabeth’ which was sporting crazily at that time:
1962: Shell Queen and Stadt Luzen.
1963: Fen Queen and Pearly Queen.
1964: Summer Queen, Flaming Queen snd Yellow Queen Elizabeth
1965. White Queen Elizabeth, Ivory Queen and Royal Queen....etc.

Does anybody have any memories of Dr. Roger Darvall’s rose?
