Introduced in Belgium by Rijksstation Voor Sierplantenteelt (RVS) in 1973 as 'Mrs. M.J. Gillon'.

Bloom:
Red and purple.  Strong fragrance.  37 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Well-branched.  

Height: up to 35" (up to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for garden or landscape.  Vigorous.

Named for the president of the Kortrijk rose trials
