i grow this rose in a border along with other dark red old garden roses unfortunately not to the benefit of it´s appearence, because next to prince camille de rohan, abbé bramérel, baron girod de l´ain and empereur du maroc it looks a bit common, although the shrub is quite pleasing and healthy, but the blooms are very small and most of them of an irregular shape. this year i will thin out the buds and hopefully get larger flowers.
