'Perfecta' and its deeper pink sports 'Pink Perfecta' and 'Perfecta Superior' were excellent cultivars and by removing a few petals we could 'manufacture' an even and near perfect bloom.  They would keep or a week at least in a refrigerator set on 40 degrees F.

'Karl Herbst'....Its progeny, Kordes 'Perfecta' and now 'Kordes Perfecta Superior' must have brought the house of Kordes great joy.  These varieties are delicate blends of pink and white, even more perfect in shape, with more petals than their crimson parent, to whose beauty and perfection many champion awards bear witness.  Yet again the burning sun or even chilly cold plays havoc with their delicate fabric, and the bruising and shrivelling of the outer petals impair many a bloom.

Kordes Perfecta Superior HT. A sport of 'Kordes Perfecta', in a rich, deep even pink. We are pleased to observe that the buds on the sport are not as disfigured as those of the parent, and nearly all the blooms open well. Naturally these blooms are of the most perfect exhibition type, with an almost flawless placing of the petals.

Kordes Perfecta Superior, HT.  (Kordes, 1964); Sport of 'Kordes Perfecta' and almost  identical with the Australian sport known as 'Pink perfecta'.  Actually the sporting occurred in Adelaide and Melbourne at approximately the same time as this sporting in Germany. In my opinion the parent is "superior" to the sport.

Plus belle encore que Kordes Perfecta dont elle est issue, elle a tout comme celle-ci, une fleur pleine à la forme fantastique, qui étonne tous ceux qui la contemplent. C'est véritablement une fille de Kordes Perfecta. La seule différence réside dans le coloris : les pétales, à I avers comme au revers sont d'un rose intense faiblement rehaussé de jaune. La floraison de ce rosier est continue, et son parfum est étour dissant. C'est un rose somptueuse. Coloris : Rose intense. Bouton : Globuleux. Fleur : Forme d'un hybride classique, d'une grandeur supérieure à la normale et au cœur plein. Végétation : Arbuste ties vigoureux à l'aspect somptueux. Floraison : Riche et se poursuivant jusqu'en automne Parfum : Très fort.
