I have to say that 'Flamingo' is a highly reliable, lovely pale pink rose.
Easily overlooked. It takes its time to form a bloom, lasts a long time on the bush and
remains attractive for weeks after its initial fresh bud.
In our Australian climate (Victoria) 'Flamingo' does very well ; it was scorched during
our horrendous heat wave in February '09 but even so, coped remarkably well and regenerated in the following weeks.
'Flamingo' fades to a lovely pale shell pink. Utterly lovely from my point of view.
Highly recommended.

I have found Flamingo to be most reliable. In particular, the flower is attractive in all stages and stays on the bush for a long time. It starts off as a mid-pink at this time of year, in this part of the world and pales to a soft shell pink at which time it is fully open and loose in appearance.
Flamingo is a rose I would recommend.
