Bred by Nicola Welter (Germany, 1902).
Class:
Tea.  
Bloom:
White to cream, pink edges, ages to yellow .  Strong fragrance.  Large, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Possibly dedicated to Princess Marija Alexandrowna Romanowa (October 17, 1853 Zarskoje Selo - October 24, 1920 Zürich), who married Prince Alfred, the Duke of Edinburgh, on June 23, 1874. The Prince became the Duke of Sachsen-Coburg and Gotha upon the death of his uncle Ernst II on August 22, 1893.
