Herzogin Marie von Coburg-Gotha, Theerose. (Mad. Carnot X Marie van Houtte.) Blume sehr gross, stark gefüllt, Farbe rein weiss bis gelblich weiss mit rosa berandet, offene Blumen in kupfrig-gelb Ubergehend, leicht und willig blühend. Blumen einzeln bis zu dreien, aufrechtstehend, sehr wohlriechend. Der Strauch ist sehr kräftig und buschig mit schönem, breitem Laubwerk. Vorzügliche Sorte für alle Zwecke.

Herzogin Marie von Coburg-Gotha, Tea Rose. (Mme Carnot X Marie van Houtte.) Bloom very large, very double, colour pure white to yellowish white edged with pink, expanded blooms passing to coppery yellow, expands freely and willingly. Solitary or up to three, upright, very fragrant. The shrub is very vigorous and bushy with beautiful, broad foliage. Excellent sort for all uses.
