Discovered by Mathias Leenders (1883 - 1958) (Netherlands, 1928).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1930 as 'Dr. Augustin Wibbelt'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow, orange shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Glossy, light green, dense foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
