Three different roses seem to be sold on-line by Barni, two called 'Amadeus' and one called 'Amadeus 91'. Not only are these roses of different habit but the variety referred to as 'Amadeus' in "Sublime Rose" and described as "strisciante" (ground cover) bears the date 1991.

Amadeus ’91 is the ground cover variety introduced by Barni in 1991 (Italy - TM No 631871 on 29 September1994, application on 6 September 1991; renewal TM 961368 on 21 March 2005 application 4 October 2001). Amedeus, according to 2013 Barni catalogue, is Kordes 2003 Korlabriax and the two codes refers to bare root and container roses (the same rose, thus, although the on line catalogue is misleading reporting two different colors).

Thanks. Just to avoid confusion, it is 'Amadeus' not 'Amedeus'.

This rose has to be 'Amadeus'91 ®', But 'Amadeus ®' sold by Barni now is a dark red climber. See: http://shop.rosebarni.it/en/cart/productlist?q=amadeus&id_p=
