Origin:
Bred by Mathias Tantau, Jr. (1912 - 2006) (Germany, 1956).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1959 as 'Friedrich Heyer'.
Class:
Floribunda, Lambertiana, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Orange blend.  Strong fragrance.  10 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Semi-double to double, cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
