Narbonne and Rosa narbonensis are probably the same rose. In this case it would be useful to have both synonyms listed

I don't think I can preface it with Rosa, but have added 'Narbonensis' as a synonym.

I looked ar Hortus Eystettensis and it lists Rosa è rubro nigrigans flore pleno. So it is this rose that later (reference 1786) was named Rosa Narbonensis. At this point the refernces about Rosa Narbonensis I added, should go to the rose "'Rosa ex rubro nigricans flore pleno" .. still unsolved the mistery whether Narbonne is a that rose or a new one. Thank you

Well done! I integrated also the Hortus Eystetten's reference. I am OK, very busy in doing too many things. Thank you. Hopefully, since the publication of Andrew Hornung's book, there should not be many italian roses still unknown and "left behind" but I am still hunting for them (the most hidden ones and so the most difficult to find). Once in a while, I hit some (at least to me) interesting references ... Have a good day
