Peter Lambert, this rose's breeder, lists it in his 1912 catalogue as 'Fürstin Pless', without the 'von'. I'm not sure what the correct title name should be.
Yes, Lambert called his rose 'Fürstin Pless' all along until 1938. Her correct title was "von Pless". See Note. So we will probably leave both spellings.
