Novelties and Scarce Roses
Gooiland Glory. Hybrid Tea. (G. A. Van Rossem, 1925.) Pointed buds and large, semi-double flowers of coral-red, produced abundantly and continuously. Very hardy; healthy, and vigorous.
An attractive bedding variety, somewhat on the order of Padre, with very showy flowers which last surprisingly well for a Rose of this type.

Gooiland Glory (1925) (Pernetiana). FI. rouge-cerise brillant, nuancé de jaune-orange, gr., semi double, portée par un pédoncule érigé, fleurit abondamment en bouquets de 3 à 5 fleurs jusque tard en automne. Recommandable pour la plantation en groupes.

New Roses for 1926. Gooiland Glory (HT. Rossem) Raised from Mme. E. Herriott x General McArthur. Colour a brilliant cherry-red, with coral-red shade. Flowers semi-double, large, borne 3 - 5 on strong, upright stems; resembles 'Padre', but with flowers of a deeper colouring. Fine for garden work. 4/- each.
After the style of 'Padre', but fuller Pernetiana. A beautiful colour.
