Bred by Gilbert Nabonnand (1828-1903) (France, 1877).
Introduced in Australia by Robert Rattray's Rosebank Nursery in 1894 as 'Comtesse de Panisse'.

Class:

Tea.

Bloom:

Rosy buff or pink blend, carmine-pink highlights. Large, double (17-25 petals), scalloped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Armed with thorns / prickles.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
