A. Brundrett. Narre Warren North, Victoria. Roses for Marble Bar. While speaking of the Radiance type I should also mention Mr. Alister Clark’s variety Cecile Mann (HT), 1939. This has an incurved form similar to that of the Radiance type, but the deep bright red is really more attractive than the cerise red of Red Radiance.

p53. Cecile Mann pleases me greatly, both from the standpoint of profusion of bloom and formation. The rich red colouring is indeed very bright and the colour holds. The blooms are large, stiff and erect on fairly lengthy stems, and the slightly incurved formation rather enhances than detracts from its appearance. A dainty fragrance tops off a tip-top Rose.
