Introduced in France by Jean-Marie Gaujard in 1939 as 'Citron'.
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. (Newark, NY) in 1942 as 'Citron'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Light yellow to buff, copper shading.  Moderate fragrance.  28 petals.  Full (26-40 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
