I asked Sue Zwar, who curates the Petticoat Lane garden, for photos of this rose, since there are no photos as such on helpmefind. Unfortunately the colour appears wrong for the descriptions (more like ochre). We will try again in spring (October), but I fear that we have a mislabel. If so, the rose may be lost, as the Petticoat Lane one is the only one listed on helmefind

Equally as unfortunately, the references do not show a clear picture of the colour. Hazlewood started out saying it was variable - Summer deep pink and Autumn orange cerise. Later he says it was almost identical (in colour?) with ‘Zara Hore-Ruthven’. Perhaps a comparison with that rose might help?

No, the Petticoat Lane one doesn't approach those colours.
