Flowers: an intense yellow with some outer petals blotched red. When fully open the petals are sometimes quartered in the style of old roses...

Goldkrone  HT. (Kordes, 1960) About forty big, thick, firm, gold to deep lemon yellow petals make up a fine long-lasting bloom. It is often coarse and malformed early in the spring but it is a great dual purpose rose at all other times. Very long, strong stems.
