Website/Catalog (1929) Page(s) 27. Everblooming Roses The so-called Everblooming Roses include the Hybrid Tea and Pernetiana groups. They do not bloom all the time, but if kept healthy and growing steadily, one crop of flowers succeeds another at brief intervals. Mrs. Ramon de Escofet. Hybrid Tea. (W. Easlea, 1919.) Very large buds and blooms of intense crimson-flame, double and of exhibition form; fragrance not notable. Plant is vigorous, throwing up long flower-stems freely over a long season. Somewhat resembles George C. Waud in color, but the flowers are larger and a little better formed. The flower-stems are not always strong. Foliage seems to be very good, but mildew occasionally appears upon its thorns.
