‘Climbing Mrs. W. T. Sumner’ (HT). Hazlewood, 1932) F6. Another vigorous climber, quite unlike any other variety so far in commerce. It produces bunches of semi-double flowers of carmine shading to rose pink, and for decorative effect for exhibiting in that class they are most valuable. It is free blooming, and to those who do not object to the semi-double open type of bloom, it should prove a very satisfactory variety. Sweet scent. Everywhere.

New Roses 1932.  Cl. Mrs. W. T. Sumner (Clb HT). (Hazlewood 1932) A vigorous climbing sport from the dwarf variety of the same name. It produces large semi-double flowers of carmine shading to rose pink, and is quite a unique colour. Apart from its garden qualities it is a decorative rose well suited for exhibiting in that class. As a climber it is vigorous, and where semi-double blooms are favoured should find a hearty welcome.
