R. Marion Hatton.  New Roses in America.
L. B. Coddington, who gave us Autumn and President Hoover among others, has a new red Rose which he has named M. S. Hershey for the famous chocolate manufacturer, and which is more than promising. A bed of little, one year plants in the Hershey Rose Garden last year developed into strong healthy plants while varieties all around them were riddled with black spot, and their rich red colour held all season without a sign of bluing. It will probably be available next autumn.
