I am increasingly less convinced of the 'once-blooming' nature of this rose. I planted it in August, and it had a flush six weeks later. It bloomed again on December 3rd, 2011, and [writing on the last day of July 2012] since then has never been without flowers. The weather has been a bit strange this year, on December 4th we had the coldest day all winter, 34°F~1°C, but we are still getting the marine layer every night - more than half my cultivars have mildew which is not normal after late June, and night temps are still dropping into the mid 50s°F/~12°C even though we've had in the last week we've had 3 days in the low 90s°F/~33°C.
Fragrance is evanescent, but the rose is beautiful, not especially large but quite full, and I need to upload some better pictures.
