Bred by BEES Ltd / Sealand Nurseries (United Kingdom, 1927).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1929 as 'Dr. Hawkesworth'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson, dark brown shading, darker center.  Strong, old rose fragrance.  Medium, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Lax.  Bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
