Origin:
Bred by Elisha J. Hicks (United Kingdom, 1922).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1924 as 'Lady Verey'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Seashell-pink, yellow undertones.  Rose pink, yellow base.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  Large, long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Medium, few or no prickles/thorns.  Large, light green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Rain tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: mildew resistant.
