Favorita. HT. (Boerner; int. Stark Bros., '54.) Unnamed Hybrid Tea seedling X Serenade. Bud ovoid, burnt-orange; fl. large (5½-6 in.), dbl. (45-50 petals), open, fagrant, salmon overcast orange. Fol. dark. Very vig.; abundant bloom. (28) Pl. Pat. 1340. Rome Gold Medal, '52.

Favorita  HT. (Boerner 1954).  A seedling from 'Serenade', with deep orange buds opening semi-double to double glowing salmon pink blooms. It is a very attractive colour and should prove a very good garden rose.
