Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. (Newark, NY) in 1955 as 'Golden Fleece'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1956 as 'Golden Fleece'.
Introduced in France by Vilmorin-Andrieux in 1957 as 'Toison d'Or'.

Floribunda.  

Yellow, buff shading.  Canary yellow.  Strong, sweet, tea fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Medium, ovoid buds.  

Bushy, light prickles.  Medium, dark green, leathery foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 20" to 28" (50 to 70cm).  

USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
