The plant is growing in a neighbourhood park in the Waverley Heights section of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The Master Gardener who volunteers as park manager told me the name of the rose was given to her by the person who donated the plant to the park. Hardiness zone would be 3. A video posted on Facebook in late June by said park manager showed a bumble bee feeding on the pollen/nectar in this rose, indicating its value to pollinators.
