Lovely rose but thornless only if you don't count the nasty hooks on the backs of the leaves. Not one to deal with bare-handed.

Nice rose, but so far is not much of a rambler for me. Pretty light yellow flowers fade to cream and white and it has good disease resistance in my organic garden here in Richmond VA. It went into the ground the same time 3 Rambling Rectors did and the later are 10 feet tall now while Goldfinch is 2 feet tall. If liberal amounts of fish emulsion does not get some results out of Goldfinch this year, she is getting moved to a better location, as she is at the edge of a wooded area that does not get full sun all day and perhaps more hours of light would do her some good.
