Bred by Mathias Tantau, Jr. (1912 - 2006) (Germany, 1966).
Class:
Hybrid Kordesii, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow.  Average diameter 5".  Large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Tall, bushy.  Glossy foliage.  

Height: 7' to 8' (215 to 245cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower, garden, pillar or shrub.  Vigorous.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
