Bred by Unknown Dutch origin (Netherlands, before 1792).
Class:
Gallica / Provins.  
Bloom:
Crimson, carmine-red shading.  Velvety.  Large, very double bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
Brent C. Dickerson says 'Cramoisie Éblouissante' is probably synonymous with De Pronville's and Redoute's 'Cramoisi Brillant'. However, the 1792 catalogue of Voorhelm & Schneevogt in Holland lists two separate roses.
