“Bishop’s Lodge Jane Isabella Linton”, collected Hay, NSW. Flowers solitary or in clusters. Very double, sometimes quartered; colour varies with the season but darker pink in the centre. Light Tea scent.   Prickles straight or curved, can be paired. Upright growth. It does not set hips.  It has similarities to Maman Cochet, and may be one of its sports.

"Bishop's Lodge Jane Isabella Linton" B35. Very similar to 'Maman Cochet' but with a deeper pink flush that makes the flower look apricot, and pink edges. It may be a sport of 'Maman Cochet' or closely related. A yellowish-pink sport of 'Maman Cochet' with darker pink edges was sold as 'Helen Good' (Good and Reese, 1906), and was offered by many Australian nurseries in the first two decades of the 20th century. This possible identification will be investigated further.

"Bishop's Lodge Jane Isabella Linton" - named for the wife of Bishop Linton. This is an old-style Tea which has an occasional stripe. Like Ah Mow's Rose and Aimee's Rose the refined buds give no indication of the incredible fullness of the open blooms. Recurrent.

Australie. Ascendance inconnue
