Bred by L. Pernille Olesen (Denmark, 1988). Bred by Mogens Nyegaard Olesen (Denmark, 1988).
Introduced in Denmark by Poulsen Roser A/S as 'Karoo Rose'.
Introduced in South Africa by Ludwig's Roses as 'Karoo Rose'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Orange or orange-red, ages to deep pink .  Flowers orange-red, aging watermelon-pink.  None to mild fragrance.  32 petals.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, dense, well-branched.  Medium, medium green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Very hardy.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The most arid part of South Africa is called the Karoo.
