Mr. S. J. Bisdee. Roses in Tasmania. ‘Narre Fragrance’ Growth and foliage are good. Its semi-double blooms open a nice yellow with a touch of orange but quickly fade to cream. So far, does not come up to the standard of yellows I am after.

A golden orange sport from the excellent salmon pink variety ‘Portadown Fragrance’ of which the growth is similar. Colour good in both spring and autumn. Awarded the Gold Medal of the National Rose Society of Victoria in 1939.
