Book (1944) Page(s) 85. Mr. S. J. Bisdee. Roses in Tasmania. ‘Narre Fragrance’ Growth and foliage are good. Its semi-double blooms open a nice yellow with a touch of orange but quickly fade to cream. So far, does not come up to the standard of yellows I am after.

Awarded the Gold Medal of the National Rose Society of Victoria in 1939.
