Introduced in France by Vilmorin-Andrieux in 1970 as 'Oiseau Bleu'.

Bloom:
Mauve - rose-pink.  Strong fragrance.  30 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Large, glossy, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.
