New Roses 1923. Souvenir de R. B. Ferguson (Per.) F.3. A most distinct and attractive novelty. Rich coppery apricot which varies considerably at different seasons. Blooms are large, and well formed and keep their shape well. Awarded First Class Certificate, Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society Show, Edinburgh. Certificate of Merit, N.R.S. Autumn Show, London. Splendid.

Au Concours de 1923... Deux premiers certificats ont été décernés, l’un à Souvenir de Fergusson, obtention de M. Fergusson ; l’autre à Albertine, obtention de M. Barbier, d’Orléans, très belle rose sarmenteuse, à bouton saumon, à fleur rose pâle.

Souvenir de R. B. Ferguson (H.T., Ferguson).-This is a very fascinating Rose of medium size. The colour is a soft golden fawn, shaded apricot, over-shot with a shade of warm pink. The habit is vigorous and branching, while the dark green foliage showed distinct traces of the pernetiana. Sweetly scented, it will be a valuable Rose for decorative and garden purposes. Quite one of the brightest coloured Roses we have, but why the mixture of French and Scotch for the name?
