Origin:
Bred by Pierre (fils) Bernaix (France, before 1928).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1930 as 'Souvenir du Capitaine Crémona'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink, carmine-red shading, deep yellow shading, salmon-orange undertones.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, lax, well-branched.  Bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Captain Eugène Lucien Crémona (January 23, 1881 Erbajolo, Corsica - Octobre 13, 1916 Bouchavesnes); French officer, killed in the battle of the Somme
