Book (1958) p59. F. J. Melville. Notes From Tasmania Reginald Fernyhough has just bloomed. A very fine bloom reflexing beautifully in the style of Mme Abel Chatenay which it resembles somewhat as it opens. The fragrance is elusive so far.

Large, double,. richly fragrant exhibition blooms of pleasing pink which deepens slightly as the flowers age. This variety has come into prominence by sheer merit, without any expensive advertising and will be widely grown in this country.

Book (1956) Page(s) 106. Dr. A. S. Thomas. The Newer Roses in Victoria Reginald Fernyhough HT (Bees 1949) on the contrary, is a great new rose that has crept upon us almost unnoticed. The long, pointed, strongly scented, soft mid-pink flowers with reflexing petals make it one of the best double purpose roses of recent years. The growth is excellent too.
