Origin:
Bred by Jan Böhm (Czechoslovakia (former), 1933).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1935 as 'Bedrich Smetana'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
White.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Composer Bedrich Smetana was born in Leitomischl (Litomysl) 2 March 1824. He died in Prague 12 May 1884.
