According to Rose Barni, this rose was presented at Euroflora '91 in Geneva and that city's Lions Club asked for it to be named Helen Keller.


Author-lecturer Helen Keller was born on 27 June 1880 in Westport, Connecticut. She died on 1 June 1968.
