Bred by Louis Lens (1924-2001) (Belgium, 1990).
Introduced in Belgium by Lens Roses/Louis Lens N.V./Pépinières Louis Lens SA in 1998 as 'Bukavu'.
Class:
Hybrid Musk, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Cherry-red to carmine-pink, white center. [White, pink shading.]  Mild, moderate fragrance.  4 to 11 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Arching, bushy.  

Height: 3' to 6' (90 to 185cm).  Width: 3' to 6' (90 to 185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for garden, landscape or shrub.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
