I planted Bukavu in my zone 5b, New Hampshire garden in spring 2018, in a location that gets mostly afternoon, semi-shaded sun. In the first year it produced a couple of long canes, about 3-4' which grew more laterally than up right. There was virtually no cane loss over the first winter. It had no winter protection and sporadic snow cover. This year it looks healthy and has been a heavy bloomer. Blooms have good substance and remain fresh looking for several days.

I saw this rose at Heirloom Roses in St. Paul, Oregon. It is beautiful and much larger than the spec's here say...it was 4+ feet high by 4 feet wide.

Mine matured to 8' tall x 5' wide. Its a huge rose. It never stops blooming, once mature.

Is this a duplicate entry for 'Bukavu'?
