Origami The strongly angular red and white petals give the bloom a ‘square’ appearance, similar to a paper folded flower – hence the name 'Origami'. Highly disease resistant and well clothed in mid green foliage, plant singly, as a hedge or in a pot. Light rose perfume. A Gold Award winning rose – Australian National Rose Trial Grounds.

Fire and Ice (Hybrid tea bush, cherry red and white). 2008 release (Meisponge). A bi-colour sensation of cherry red and white adorn this award winning rose. Gold medal winner at 2005 [2004] National Rose Trials. 1.5m tall.

The top award was a red/white floribunda rose bred by Meilland International France. This cultivar code MEIsponge is yet to be named, and will not be released in Australia until 2006. It was the only Gold Medal awarded and was named Australia's Rose of the Year 2005. it also received the Marion de Boehme Memorial award and the Rose Hills Award for the best floribunda rose in the trial.
