Deep pink Shrub.

Origin:

Bred by Isabella Preston (Canada, 1923).
Introduced in Canada by Agriculture Canada, Ottawa, Ontario (Central Experimental Farm) in 1932 as 'Iroquois'.

Class:

Shrub.

Bloom:

Deep pink. Strong fragrance. Semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.

Growing:

USDA zone 4b and warmer. Hardy.

Breeder's notes:

R. cinnamomea was crossed with a Scotch rose named Pythagoras, and two seedlings have been named: ...Iroquois has semi-double pale amaranth-pink flowers.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

R. cinnamomea × Pythagoras

Notes:
