A beautiful, large free flowering climbing rose. Very much a tea in style. As good as blossomtime. Sadly neglected by today's gardeners

There is no doubt about the veracity of 'Irene Bonnet' is there? Two of the references say the reverse is canina or eglantine pink, and that surely must be a whole lot lighter in colour than the reverse pictured.

It is very beautiful in the photos, but I suspect it may be a cultivar for warm climates only.

Some of the blooms are reminding me of 'Jonkheer J. L. Mock' (which I don't have, but considered once for my foundling "Birte Venske's No. 13").

Color is variable, like most of the Teas and close ancestors. This rose has Tea / Tea like Hybrid Tea stamped all over it.
